Species
Botanical rarities collected, divided, and grown on in our greenhouses. Bloom form and color vary naturally within the species — your plant will be true to type but uniquely its own.

Cattleya Crosses
Hybrid seedlings grown from seed at our Fort Pierce nursery. Like a litter of puppies, each seedling varies — every plant a one-of-one.
Common questions
Before your orchid ships
Where do my orchids ship from?
Every plant ships direct from our greenhouses in Fort Pierce, Florida — one mile off I-95 on the Treasure Coast, about an hour north of West Palm Beach. We've been at this location for over forty years and pack every box by hand.
When will my order ship?
All orders ship Mondays and Tuesdays via FedEx or UPS — never later in the week — so your plants spend the shortest possible time in transit. Orders received before 7:30 AM Tuesday usually go out that same week; everything else ships the following Monday.
What about winter shipping?
Since orchids are tropical and sub-tropical, we hold orders whenever low temperatures along the route are at or below freezing. For colder climates that often means we'll wait from late December through early April, or ship 2-Day Air on a mild week — whichever keeps your plant safest.
Are these blooming-size plants?
Yes. Unlike most growers, the orchids we ship are already mature, blooming-size — so you're not waiting years for the first spike. Mericlone Cattleyas bloom true to the photo; species and seed-grown crosses will be true to type with natural variation, like a litter of puppies.
Do you guarantee live arrival?
We do. If anything arrives damaged, save the box, packing, and plant, snap a photo, and email us right away. If you're not completely satisfied, contact us within two weeks of receipt — liability is limited to the cost of the plant(s) and their actual shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship within the continental U.S., Alaska (USPS Priority), Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We do not ship to Hawaii or internationally.
Can I visit the greenhouses?
Yes — we're open to the public during the week. Stop by if you're on the Treasure Coast, or come find us at one of the 25+ orchid and plant shows we exhibit at each year throughout Florida.
How should I water and feed a new Cattleya?
Cattleyas have pseudobulbs and prefer to dry out a bit between waterings — let the pot get close to dry, then water until it runs freely through the bottom. Feed weakly, weekly: a dilute, balanced fertilizer once a week beats a heavy dose once a month.
